About Jennifer

Jennifer received her Masters in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder Colorado. She has additional training in Body Psychotherapy, Trauma work, and Gestalt from the Boulder Psychotherapy Institute. and Level I training for the treatment of trauma from the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute. In addition, she has completed numerous hours of training in the addictions field and is soon to be certified as an Addictions Counselor II. Jennifer believes how we nourish the body, physically and emotionally, is integral for maintaining mental health and wellness. She utilizes techniques drawn from Body Psychotherapy, mindfulness based practices, and nutrition education when collaborating with clients.

Jennifer is in private practice in Boulder, is a therapist at Boulder Emotional Wellness , and is currently working as a substance abuse and addictions counselor for Boulder Alcohol Education Center and Arapahoe House. She is a clinical member of the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy.


In conjuction with her counseling practice, Jennifer also practices body and energy work as a Certified Clinical Reflexologist and Reiki Master,and has received training in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Holistic Nutrition, Chair Massage, and Body Reflexology from the Ohio Academy of Holistic Health
